Patchwork Futures

Patchwork Futures is a community-owned digital space where memories, dreams, and reflections on the Earth come together. As I started exploring opportunity around climate resilience I felt the need to rethink the language we use to talk about the climate crisis and combat complex issues by empowering communities, consumers and audiences to make more sustainable decisions.

Patchwork Futures was created to become a space that supports conversations that help us reconnect with the planet and encourage us to learn, unlearn and share stories that could potentially bring us closer to understanding how to engage with sustainability and demonstrate empathy in communications on the climate.

The dominant climate story tells us to worry, to consume less, to fear more. But what if we could rebuild it - not with guilt, but with connection? This project invites individuals to contribute what they remember, what they imagine, and what they care about. Not to fix the planet alone - but to co-create a shared narrative of meaning and responsibility. It’s a response to a broken storytelling system - one that left our feelings, rituals, and local knowledge out.
